Marbleized Paper

A while back I took a workshop with  Janelle Trosclair. We dripped enamel paint on the surface of water in a metal pan.  There are eight of these altogether. Many of them look like the abstract paintings I make.

Texture Fun

This was created in a workshop during The Colony in 2004. We played with splattering paint and adding texture on top. Some of the techniques we used were new to me.

Ink Blot

This began as an idea for an art show poster. It was to be a background design that captured the way I paint. Unfortunately the ink stuck in the screen. However, I used the transparency, created for silkscreen, for other projects. Eventually, the ink blot became the logo for my business cards.

Bagel Inferno

Everyone wants to know where the bagel is. I was working on the piece the day a bagel got stuck in a bagel warmer in the school cafeteria. Smoke was billowing out of the appliance.
